HOLISTIC PET REMEDIES: SKIN ALLERGY, PETS EZCEMA, DERMATITIS
Pet skin allergy is extremely irritating to pets and hard for the pet guardian to watch. Most pet caretakers suspect skin allergies when their dog, cat or other pet animal starts to scratch, lick, chew and bite his/her own skin chronically or aggressively.
Progressive signs of pet skin allergies can include some or several of these symptoms:
- itching or burning sensations (puritis, pet dermatitis, eczema)
- hair loss (pet alopecia)
- red blotchy skin, dark skin pigmentation or skin discoloration
- dog hot spots, pet rashes, red pimples with or without pus, sores, lesions
- dry, rough skin (dandruff flakes), scaly skin (shiny), sticky, oozy skin with foul smell or skin with ring-like lesions (pet ringworm, fungus)
- inflamed, bleeding, infected, raw-looking skin which over-scratching and chewing make worse
- ulcerated skin with crusts and scabs
- affected skin area may be smelly or odourless
- affected skin area may feel hot, damp or cold to the touch
- pet may be irritated, anxious, restless or indifferent
- pet may be self-mutilating (intense itch)
Skin allergy can come from many sources: auto-immune disease, organs imbalances, food allergy, parasites (e.g. mange mites), fungi (e.g. ringworm), bacteria, chemical toxins (e.g. drugs, vaccinations), environmental irritant (e.g. carpet cleaners, household chemicals) and unhealed wounds.
The main underlying reasons for any kind of pets allergies are:
- Immature, weak or compromised immune system (parasites don't like strong hosts - they can tell by the odor and energy emitted by the potential host)
- Heat, damp heat or stagnation in the organs creating imbalances
- Toxicity in the blood and body fluids
- Liver congestion
- Acute or chronic toxic exposure and allergic reaction (to chemicals and preservatives in pet food, flea programs, veterinary drug use, vaccinations, cleaning and lawn chemicals, etc.). Due to the shorter life span of pet animals, nature's intelligence helps them react to toxins quickly (faster than we do).
- Weak body terrain due to poor diet (any processed diet, even premium brands)
- Too much emotional stress or mental irritation from the animal's point of view (from past abuse, family stress, moves, lack of pack rules, illness)
The intelligence of the body is trying to eliminate unwanted toxins and irritants from the blood and body fluids via your pet's skin. Our skin is our external 'lung', the largest eliminatory organ in our pet's body. It is very important that we do not block or suppress this elimination process.
Instead, we need to help detox and complete the elimination process, address the underlying biological and lifestyle causes, and correct the energy distortions causing the disturbing symptoms.
You, as a pet guardian, will need to address the lifestyle causes (e.g. natural fresh diet; natural remedies & treatment; reduce chemical and drugs exposures via inspiration, skin contact, ingestion, injection; reduce daily stress).
Our 100% natural Skin Allergy Remedies, partner remedies and nutritional supplements are designed to help the irritating symptoms of pet skin allergy, energy distortions and biological underlying reasons for the hyper-sensitive nature of your pet's immune system.

WHAT OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING ABOUT OUR PET PRODUCTS
SUCCESS STORY: MALICE - DOG HOT SPOTS, DOG HAIR LOSS, PUS & SKIN PROBLEM
Malice, 90 lbs Great Dane/Boxer mix, 15 month old, has skin problem and hot spots. There are red, dime-sized bumps, some spots are pure white, some black. 3/4 of the back and 1/2 the neck are affected. There is also pus and hair loss in two spots. Food allergy is the diagnosis by the veterinarian and antibiotics and Advantage are prescribed even though there are no fleas found. Different brands of kibbles and canned food are tried without improvement.
Upon animal communication consultation and later confirmed by the dog guardian, Malice was found to be itchy and allergic to the food, the skin allergy became worse after antibiotics and chemical flea products.
The Skin Allergy Formula (in the Skin Trouble Spray), along with a diet change to raw organic meat, vegetables and bones, and stopping the antibiotic and Advantage use helped Malice recover noticeably in 3 weeks. Skin allergy, pus and itchiness symptoms stopped, and hair started to grow back. In 2 months, no one even thinks that Malice has had any prior skin problem. The coat is full and shiny!
"I stopped using the remedy after 2 weeks as everything is getting back to normal. Malice is full of beautiful hair and the skin has improved so much. No dog hot spot left. Natural is definitely the way to go! It makes sense for us human, it works for the animals too."

SUCCESS STORY: DOGS ITCHY SKIN, NO FLEAS, POSSIBLE DOG MITES
Four dogs of different ages, Golden Retrievers, same household, have been itching. No fleas found. They have been on a raw dog food diet for years, no known allergies. Finally, the animal guardians suspect mites (which is rather common and often mistaken as skin allergy).
They bathe the dogs with WildPets Skin Trouble Natural Shampoo once. After they dry, apply the WildPets Skin Trouble Duster once. Next day, to their surprise and amazement, all four dogs are no longer itchy.
"That (mites & itchy) problem has resolved quite well. I feel good about the products."
Wendy Galt - Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada
SUCCESS STORY: MITZI - PUPPY DOG, ITCHING LIKE CRAZY
Mitzi, 3 month old puppy, Shitzu cross Japanese Chin, is itching like crazy with multiple other symptoms. After using WildPets Skin Trouble Spray and Skin Trouble Shampoo, here is the pet guardian's comments...
"Mitzi is doing VERY well. Her skin needs a spray now only about every 5 days. Our vet does not want me bathing her too often and the spray is Great. If you need another reference they can call me for sure. After all the help you have given us, to see our little girl so full of life, her ears are clear and her skin is not driving her crazy, ALL because of you and your wonderful products. The puppy mill did not win this time. We are just very grateful."

PET HEALING TIPS
- Consider switching to human-grade raw, semi-raw or cooked diet (organic raw is best).
- If your dog or cat is a fussy eater, try unseasoned cooked chicken (or turkey, ground lamb, ground beef, boneless cooked fish), real chicken soup, mashed pumpkin (any fibrous squash) and steamed rice initially to stimulate appetite and help settle the stomach. Add mashed broccoli later for added nutrients. Feel free to give grated raw or cooked veggies and fruit pieces (organic best, avoid nightshade veggies) that your pet enjoys and that his/her tummy can handle. Add new diet 25% at a time, 3-4 days at a time, to switch over.
- Probiotics (WildPets G.I. Revitalizer) is essential to rebuild stomach bacteria destroyed by pathogens, parasites, chemical antibiotics, drugs and processed pet food.
- Clean your home and bedding thoroughly with very hot water and soap if there are parasites. Steam clean carpet. Vaccuum and clean bedding regularly to reduce extent of infestation.
- Use holistic remedies and therapies whenever possible. Avoid surgery if possible. Avoid vaccinations, chemical flea and dewormer programs, and chemical flea home treatment (see our Flea page for more info).
- Regular detox is essential to good body house-keeping. Detox twice a year for optimum maintenance.
- Add nutritional and other supplements to diet, as needed, after stomach has stabilized.
- Good pack or herd rules, clear boundaries, lots of love, play, fun, exercise, sunlight and rest will keep your dogs, cats, horses and other pet animals at the peak of their spirit!
PETS SKIN ALLERGIES REMEDIES FAQ
Q: What are the differences between WildPets Skin Trouble Spray or Spray Plus and WildPets Skin Allergy Formula or Formula Plus?
A: First of all, WildPets Skin Trouble Spray and WildPets Skin Allergy Formula are for pets under 1 year of age. WildPets Skin Trouble Spray Plus and WildPets Skin Allergy Formula Plus are for pets 1 year of age or older.
WildPets Skin Trouble Spray or Spray Plus are designed to help both skin allergies and skin infection. You apply this pet product externally on the affected skin areas.
WildPets Skin Allergy Formula or Formula Plus are designed to help skin allergies without skin infection. Some customers like to use WildPets Skin Allergy because it lasts longer than the spray.
If you are unsure whether bacteria or fungus play a role in the skin allergies, we suggest you use the Spray or Spray Plus just in case.
Q: My dog is allergic to every food including raw meat. What can I do?
A: Allergy sometimes is very easy to reverse, and other times it can be quite involved especially for older dogs and cats. There are a few things you can do.
First, test different brands of meat. Some dogs and cats do better with Kosher treated meat, organic or even a different brand of meat. If you know a local farmer who does not use chemicals on the feed or the animals, you may want to order from them.
Second, your animal may be allergic to more than food. Vaccination is the first thing that confuses the immune system and makes the body react to normal things. It seems like the more a pet is vaccinated, the worse allergies and auto-immune symptoms it shows. So educate yourself on that and make some choices about whether to continue with repeated vaccinations or not.
Third, your pet may be allergic to certain veterinary drugs or environmental chemicals. If possible, consult with your vet to see if you can stop the drugs for a week to see if that is the problem or not. Use as natural ingredients as you can with your cleaning, household and garden needs.
Fourth, if your animal is allergic to everything, you need to detox the animal and help it react to healthy things in a healthy way. WildPets BIO D-Tox and Surgery-Vacc Help can detox the body. Supplements may also be needed to rebuild the body.
Lastly, there may be organs imbalances within your pet that require rebalancing. Our holistic consultation, custom remedies and distant healing services may be of help for complex one-on-one issues.
Note: Response to remedies and supplements varies by individual. If these products do not give complete healing, your pet may need individual attention through our long distance pet healing service or consultation with a veterinarian.
