Our mission is simple:

Our Philosophy
Pearl has been interested in natural healing since 1990. She has studied with many teachers and adapted human healing modalities to animals. Pearl realizes through experience that in order to heal thoroughly, often several healing techniques need to be combined.
This is why she integrates homeopathy, herbs, natural nutrition, supplements, functional foods and other natural methods in her store to help pets heal. Not bandaid solution but healing from the inside out and outside in.
Most manufacturers design their products to make your pets feel better (palliate) but not to heal thoroughly. Others suppress symptoms, so they disappear temporarily, only to come back with a vengeance - deeper, more damaging than the last time. Pet lovers keep buying the same products from these manufacturers which make them very happy indeed.
At Gentlecare, we want to help your pets heal as completely as possible. We believe if we succeed in that, you will tell other pet lovers about us and you will come back to us when the need arises. And if all pets are healthy all the time on this planet, then we'll simply redirect to help human instead :)
Our Diligence
Pearl hand picks all products for the store from the best of the best, including our own WildPets brand, from seasoned herbalists, healers, scientists, innovators, nutritionists, veterinarians, flower essences pioneers, animal behaviorists and pet psychologists.
When Pearl first started, she wanted to sell existing products. Unfortunately, her research showed that most natural pet healing products on the market do not meet her strict standards of efficacy, safety, speed of healing, specificity, ease of use (pet's view) and convenience (human's view). So Pearl decided to create her own products only if it does not exist or she can make it much better. The result is the best mix of WildPets and other brands of products in our store.
People tend to assume that natural ingredients are 100% natural and safe. From our research, some natural ingredients have been altered through processing (e.g. ionic silver) and others add synthetic chemicals to a natural product (e.g. grapefruit seed extract). Unless you are shrewd, it can be confusing and down right deceptive.
Our R&D department evaluates products, including our own, for their efficacy, holistic approach, natural fresh ingredients, taste and feel, manufacturing process, safety and the consciousness of the people who makes them. Our strategic partners are intelligent (think for themselves), compassionate for animals and have a respectful gratitude towards Mother Earth.
We are not as concerned about theories and concepts of healing, nor the intellectual arguments about conventional and natural medicine. We are focused only on whether something works in diverse real life situation, without doing harm to animals in the short and long term, and how well it works. We believe in what life and life experiences show us (life never lies). We are realists!
Our Essence
The essence of our company is well represented by our logo and name - the 'pink' color expresses our gentle love for pets, the 'red' and 'white' colors that make up pink represents our "passion" for animals and natural healing, as well as our "purity" of intention to help animals and pet guardians. Our name 'Gentlecare' reflects our experience that many pet health and behavior issues can and should be treated with gentle ways.
